Many years ago a young lady had a dream to share the Gospel of Christ with Africans. With the end result of them giving their lives to Christ and influencing their generation to follow and put their faith in Him, the only hope of the world. 

This purpose brought her to Africa, leaving her comfort zone in the United States of America, including her children. Other African countries were reached by her but our story focus on Liberia, where she later settled in a rural part called Buchanan and established Youth for Christ mission. Many lives were reached and became saved. Others became like family to her and lived at the mission’s center, where their basic needs were met and in return render their valuable talents and services to ensure Youth for Christ work. 

The mission became a huge source of inspiration to make young people bringing out their full potential in God’s kingdom. Then the Liberia’s civil war that led the vision bearer, Caroline Rotz back to her home land. Many Liberians were killed; others were displaced hundreds of thousands of them. This took the mission to the Ivory Coast where it continues to work. After the civil war, when Liberia was declared a peaceful nation, the mission returned to Liberia. A few years later, we painfully lost the vision bearer but the vision still lives on. 

Those who lives were touched by her work are now in various professions such as: Pastors, Church planners, Evangelists, Doctors, Nurses, Engineers, Bankers, Teachers, Social Workers and the list goes on. The mission is now called Ambassadors for Christ in order to secure its own website and continue to serve its fundamental purpose as established by the vision bearer.
